About me
Katia Anischenko
Katia Anischenko is the Founder and Artistic Director of Anischenko Ballet Company. A graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg with dual diplomas in Performance and Pedagogy, she danced as a guest artist with the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky, Teatro alla Scala, and Kremlin Ballet Theatre, and performed at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Opening Ceremony. For more than a decade she has performed in over seventy countries, placing students at Académie Princesse Grace, the Vaganova Academy, Juilliard, and Perm Ballet School. She is a four-time YAGP Outstanding Teacher and an international competition adjudicator.
