About me
Katia Anischenko
Katia Anischenko is the Founder and Artistic Director of Anischenko Ballet Company. A graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg with dual diplomas in Performance and Pedagogy, she danced as a guest artist with the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky, Teatro alla Scala, and Kremlin Ballet Theatre, and performed at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
For more than a decade she has performed in over seventy countries, placing students at Académie Princesse Grace, the Vaganova Academy, Juilliard, and San Francisco Ballet School. She is a four-time YAGP Outstanding Teacher and a certified international competition adjudicator.

How we work
2X Per Year:
Professional Stage
In collaboration with a professional ballet company, students preform alongside a professional troupe twice a year - in productions staged across the U.S. and internationally.
Every 2 Months:
Pre-Competition Showcases
Every two months, students perform a showcase ahead of competition viewings - a full run-through in a theatre setting that builds stage confidence and polish before adjudicated events. Held at the Box Theatre, Liberty Station.
Open Classes:
Parent Observation Classes
Open classes where parents are welcomed to watch their dancers train and progress - held at the Box Thearte, Liberty Station. A window into the work, the method, and each childs growth across the season.
